Holly Hunter is a well-known American actor as well as producer and director. Her name has been acknowledged for films such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles and The Incredibles. The movie Piano has won several awards for her, among them an Oscar. Actresses have an extensive history of working on Broadway, Off-Broadway and other productions. She was introduced to Beth Henley in an elevator and the pair collaborated to make Broadway Crimes of the Heart which was Hunter's debut film. After moving into Los Angeles, Hunter tried to find films to play. The role of a supporting actress was securing for her in Swing Shift. Her work spans over 30 years and she's appeared in a variety of TV films or series, as well as films. Holly Hunter is a Hollywood Walk of Fame famous person and has been awarded the Women in Film Lucy Award.
